This is something I have been reflecting on a lot in the past week….are my actions in alignment with my goals?
Are your actions in alignment with YOUR goals? Or are you dazed and confused about why you are not achieving your goals? In denial about why you are not achieving your goals or the changes you desire in life?
Alignment. Are you doing what is necessary, consistently, to create the changes you wish to see?
This applies in any area of life really. It applies to any goal or dream.
Are your actions in alignment with what you want?
So for example, you want to lose weight. You tell everyone you want to lose weight. Every morning you wake up and you plan to have a good day and to make progress. Then…..your actions are NOT in alignment with your goal. You eat a donut. You cancel your workout. You don’t hydrate properly. You make excuses, etc. NOT IN ALIGNMENT WITH YOUR GOAL.
Maybe you want to spend more time with your kids. But then you spend time mindlessly scrolling on Social Media, often in the presence of your children. NOT IN ALIGNMENT WITH YOUR GOAL.
Maybe you want a new job. So badly. But you do not send out any resumes, you don’t search job postings every day, you don’t update your resume. NOT IN ALIGNMENT WITH YOUR GOAL.
I have definitely realized what I have been out of alignment with.
How can you make yourself figure out what you are out of alignment with? Ask yourself….
What is my goal? Change I wish to create? What do I NEED to do to achieve it? Am I doing ALL of those things? Am I doing them consistently?
Align your actions with your goals and you will make progress so much faster!
